GEO Special - Berlin
2009, p. 143 – Dream on at the HONIGMOND GARDEN HOTEL…Don't be surprised if you're woken up by croaking frogs at four o'clock in the morning. Those little ones live in a green biotope that is hidden in the backyard, with a pond, a waterfall and palms that are five metres high. Six of the 25 hotel rooms have direct access to the garden. If you want to be undisturbed, you can ask for Room G6 in the small remise – which has its own terrace and swing hammock. The owner, Carl Loyal, proudly tells us that 90% of his hotel's guests are regulars – if you've been to the Honigmond once, you'll always come back.

Romantic – HONIGMOND GARDEN HOTEL … Even the name promises an idyll. But what can be found in the patio of the charming hotel will make all romantics' hearts beat faster: The remise apartments on the ground floor offer a marvellous view of the lovingly arranged garden, with old ivy, lush grass, a goldfish pond and croaking frogs. You will not notice that you are in the centre of a big city. The other rooms have all been furnished individually with passion for detail.
